The WRJ Southwest District is the link between Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) and local Sisterhoods and exists to assist local Sisterhood leaders.

The objectives of the Southwest District are:

• To promote the aims, programs and projects of the Women of Reform Judaism, The Federation of Temple Sisterhoods. (WRJ)
  
• To bring the Sisterhoods in the District in closer cooperation and association with one another to further their respective activities.
  
• To serve as a liaison between local Sisterhoods and the Women of Reform Judaism.
  
• To help Sisterhoods participate effectively in the activities of Women of Reform Judaism.
  
• To assist in the organization of new Sisterhoods in the District.

Through District and Sisterhood programs, we encourage:

• Membership in Sisterhood and Synagogue
  
• The search for the spiritual in our worship and prayers
  
• Greater commitment to Jewish study
  
• Tikkun ha'olam (repair the world) through community activities
  
• Development of future leadership
  
• A Jewish environment for the individual to expand and grow
  
• A sense of identify and belonging with other Jewish women.
